Domaine Le Père Brun
Passion for the craft
History

As an artisan winemaker undergoing organic conversion in the commune of Sorgues in the Vaucluse (84), I took over the family vineyards in 2017, following in the footsteps of my grandfather and later my uncle.
Typical of the region, we are privileged to cultivate vineyard plots on Rhône river pebbles and red soils—an identical terroir to that of Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines
These distinctive features greatly enhance the richness and character of our terroir.
Père Brun, meaning “Father Brun,” was the nickname given to my grandfather, Serge Brun.
He instilled in me his passion for nature and cultivating the land.
It was only fitting to name my first cuvée La Relève, which translates to “The Successor.”
For me, it is both a second tribute to him and a way to carry on the Brun family’s winemaking legacy, following in the footsteps of my grandfather and my uncle.

The tools and viticulture methods used to obtain these aromas remain unchanged from my grandfather’s time
We practice sustainable viticulture, avoiding chemical weeding and prioritizing respect for biodiversity.
Every stage of the harvest is carried out manually, with grape clusters carefully handpicked to ensure the highest quality.
Our vineyard is managed with profound respect for both nature and the unique characteristics of the terroir.

Our Cuvées

La Relève
The essence of the terroir lies at the heart of this cuvée, showcasing the unique character of our vineyard.
The blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre imparts both power and a striking purple hue to this Côtes du Rhône

Le Tonton
Beneath the shade of our vines, this Mourvèdre-dominant cuvée stands out for its remarkable concentration.
With a complex aroma of black fruits, spices, and leather, it boasts fine, noble, and elegant tannins.

L'Héritage
With its limited production, this wine is endowed with a truly unique character.
An exceptional family heritage, this plot of pure Grenache, planted in 1990, the year of my birth, reflects both the essence of the terroir and the history of our family.
